Friends of the Polk City Community Library
Friends of the Polk City Community Library is an organization formed to promote and encourage the use of the library, to support and strengthen library services and programs and to provide cultural enrichment to our community. It is the Friends' goal to build a broad-based community support that will continue to expand and improve our current library programs.

- share our talents as volunteers
- promote the library and support the library director and staff
- raise funds for library material and programs
- provide the library with tender loving care
The Friends of the Polk City Community Library have four scheduled meetings per year. All meetings are open to the membership and to the public. Anyone interested in supporting the library is welcome and encouraged to attend!

The Polk City Library Foundation is a private, non-profit organization which was created to conduct a major fund-raising effort for a new Polk City Library.
The new library building opened in January 2005 and the Foundation continues to support library programs and special needs. Your gifts have made a difference!
